Performance & Assessment

Performance Night
We believe an essential part of every student’s musical education and advancement should involve frequent opportunities to perform for others. Every third Friday of the month, students have the opportunity to gather in the Adler Center ballroom and share informal performances of their music with each other. A faculty member is on hand to oversee the activities. Accompanists are provided for those students in need.
Student Recitals
Sharing music with others is one of the joys of musical study. To celebrate our student’s musical accomplishments, each instructor’s studio will present recitals at different times throughout the year. For many instruments a piano accompanist may be needed for recital performances. Accompanist fees are not included in individual music instruction tuition.
Student Assessment
Periodically our instructors assess each student’s progress via our student assessment system. A copy of each student’s assessment will be mailed to the address provided.
Student Photographs
Occasionally, photographs of students engaged in lessons or performance activities are used for publicity purposes on the Adler Center’s website or in publications, local newspapers and magazines. If you do not wish to have your child’s photo used in a publication or for publicity purposes please contact the administrative staff.
