Bethany Hamilton received her Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from the Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of Performing Arts in 2007. She was the only jazz major at Roosevelt ever to complete the Scholars Program, including an Honors Thesis. Bethany is the recipient of numerous awards and honors including the Outstanding Soloist designation from the Notre Dame, Elmhurst and Western Michigan Jazz Festivals and participated as a member of the winning ensembles for Downbeat Magazine’s annual music competition for three years in a row, from 2003-2005. Bethany specializes in jazz and classical voice.
