Petra received a Masters Degree in Musical Education from Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic and graduated with honors from the Music Conservatory in Prague. She is a former member of the ensemble of the Historical Instruments “Kamina” in Prague. Petra appeared on a few recordings as well as on Czech TV and took part in several viola competitions. She performs with the Southwest Symphony Orchestra in Oak Lawn, North Suburban Symphony in Lake Forest, Viennese Chicago Symphony and has made guest appearances with the Northwest Symphony in Des Plaines, Zion Chamber Orchestra and others. Presently she is the principal violist for the Waukegan Symphony Orchestra.
