Sheldon Miller started piano at the age of four with the Suzuki Method. He received a full-scholarship to the Chicago College of Performing Arts as a double major in piano and vocal performance, where he is currently a student. Sheldon studied piano for four years with Dmitry Rachmanov, and has also studied with Menahem Pressler and Frederic Chiu. He has been trained vocally by Judith Haddon, David Holloway, and Michael Best, who collectively have over 50 years stage experience at the Metropolitan Opera  House in NYC. In 2006, he was the winner of the McCarthy Foundation Competition, and this year his band, This is Me Smiling, was signed to Sony/Colombia/BMG records. Sheldon also teaches in Aurora and has over 25 students of all ages and experience.
