Marilyn received her Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University and continued her studies in piano and theory at the American Conservatory of Music. She did her Suzuki pedagogy training at Trinity College in Deerfield after which she established the Bishoff School of Piano in McHenry. Marilyn has over 20 years of teaching experience in Lake and McHenry counties. Her students participate in local contests & sonata festivals. Marilyn’s teaching philosophy supports Suzuki Methodology and traditional reading concepts for an effective integrated approach.
