Helen graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana with a Master of Music in Piano Performance and also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music in Piano Performance from the University of Illinois at Chicago. While at the University of Illinois she studied applied piano with Dr. William Heiles, piano pedagogy with Dr. Reid Alexander and chamber coaching with Laurien Laufman and Masumi Rostad of the Pacifica Quartet. Helen was a piano instructor for the Piano Laboratory Program at the University of Illinois where she taught individual instruction to students of all ages. Helen has been teaching individual piano lessons to student’s ages 4 to 50 since 1998.
