 CASA Lake County

CASA Lake County exists to promote and protect the best interest of children who have been abused or neglected, by training volunteers to advocate for them in courts, in schools and in our community to help them find safe, permanent and loving homes.  Nearly 1,500 children experience abuse or neglect each year in Lake County. Instead of playing with neighbors and making happy family memories, they’re attending court hearings, adjusting to new foster homes and transitioning to new schools. That’s a heavy burden for a child to carry. With a CASA volunteer dedicated to their case, Lake County’s most vulnerable children will have someone speaking up for their best interests.
