Sarah Cowan

Sarah graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a degree in Music Education.  While there she performed in may ensembles including the orchestra, wind ensemble, jazz band, pep band musical and opera orchestras.  After graduation she spend 2 years working in Uganda as a Peace Corps Volunteer at and orphanage and school for the organization, Children of Uganda. Currently, she teaches beginning band and general music and enjoys playing oboe with the Northshore Concert Band.  Sarah loves teaching music and has been teaching private lessons since 1998 and hopes to continue to teach for decades to come.
