Katelyn Schafernak

Katelyn Schafernak is a born Libertyville resident. She graduated with Cum Laude honors from Carthage College in the spring of 2011, receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. During her studies she student taught at Jeffery Elementary and Somers Elementary in Kenosha, WI. Proud of her Libertyville heritage, she is thrilled to become a member of the David Adler community. Since her childhood and throughout her collegiate years, Katelyn has been involved in artistic and creative endeavors such as Art Club Assistant at Oak Grove School to Production Staff for Carthage College’s Newspaper. At the David Adler Music and Arts Center, Katelyn will lend her artistic talents and ability to work with youth to create an exciting curriculum.
