Julianne Sundin

Julianne Sundin holds a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from Illinois Wesleyan University with a major in piano and a Master of Music Degree from DePaul University where she achieved a level two Orff-Schulwerk certification in music instruction.   She has been teaching piano and comprehensive general/ vocal music in Palatine, Mundelein and Lake Zurich School Districts since 1970.

Julianne is a piano accompanist for numerous vocal/instrumental artists, including students and performing groups in School Districts 211, 214, 15 and 25  “Music For Youth” Program, and University of Illinois Chicago Campus Concert Series.  She also has served as Organist/Choirmaster/Director of Music of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Palatine.

She has been as an adjudicator for the Illinois Grade School Music Association at the state and local levels and is a member of the MENC, IMEA, MTNA, American Orff-Schulwerk Association and American Guild of Organists.
